چکیده

PT Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) is the largest container port in Indonesia. Currently, JICT capacity 2.5 million TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) per year, it continues to strive improve international services and supported by adequate loading unloading equipment. The requirement establish common standards different types of equipment identify performance indicators assess handling has increased. Although Quay Crane (QCC) operating system may be at each terminal, there are similarities its main movements, namely: Main Hoist, Trolley, Gantry, Boom. By knowing clock metric for movement, possible determine Key Performance Indicator (KPI) that been adopted (QCC). results study identified value MMBF (Mean Move Between Failures) decreased due accumulation long-lasting heavy load operations, while number maintenance activities machine parts working hours continued increase. as a management tool can guide QCC inspections provide useful insights improving operations future.

The Quay Crane Deployment Problem at a Maritime Container Terminal

Container unloading/loading at marine container terminals (MCTs) is a key logistic process, to which some research efforts have been addressed by using mathematical programming models formulated in a deterministic-static environment. Vice versa, DES models in a stochastic-dynamic environment are well capable of representing the entire process. Hence, simulation results to be an effective planni...

Quay Crane Allocation of Container Terminal Based on Cluster Analysis

Quay crane allocation is one of the most important scheduling plans in the container terminal. A large of production data is stored in the database of the terminal. This paper utilizes the method of data mining to analyze the problem of quay crane allocation by using these data. From the mining, valuable information has been gotten from the database. The paper chooses the fuzzy cmeans cluster a...

Skew control of a quay container crane

In this paper, the skew control of the load (container) in the quay crane used in the dockside of a container terminal is investigated. The mathematical model of the 3-dimensional (3D) motions of the load is first derived. The container hooked to a spreader is suspended by four ropes in air. When the container is accelerated by the trolley or is disturbed by winds, it will make a rotational mot...

Integrated internal truck, yard crane and quay crane scheduling in a container terminal considering energy consumption

Container terminals mainly include three types of handling equipment, i.e., quay cranes (QCs), internal trucks (ITs) and yard cranes (YCs). Due to high cost of the handling equipment, container terminals can hardly purchase additional handling equipment. Therefore, the reasonable scheduling of these handling equipment, especially coordinated scheduling of the three types of handling equipment, ...

Simultaneous Optimization of Berth Allocation, Quay Crane Assignment and Quay Crane Scheduling Problems in Container Terminals

In this work, we focus on the integrated planning of the following problems faced within the context of seaside operations at container terminals: berth allocation, quay crane assignment, and quay crane scheduling. First, we formulate a new binary integer linear program for the integrated solution of the berth allocation and quay crane assignment problems called BACAP. Then we extend it by inco...
